Le Monde
All things eighties are big again so don’t let the name Le Monde, (French names were very big 30 years ago) put you off. Le Monde has long been a breakfast and brunch favourite, and rightly so. This is a good, solid café serving great coffee and a well-rounded and reasonably priced menu. However, the real thrill at Le Monde comes with the degustation breakfast. The Breakfast Tasting Plate includes three courses with matching coffees or you can substitute for tea. Three courses to start the day might sound terrifying, however, the potions are doable, delicious and inventive.
