It is not difficult to find a good Japanese restaurant in Perth. Western Australians embraced this cuisine long ago – especially sushi. There are few better cuisines that go better with this part of Australia’s summer. Having said that, teppanyaki has been a big hit too and this is why you come to New Shima Japanese Restaurant. While the place could do with a make-over, this is still a good place for a quick lunch. The chicken teppanyaki is tasty, and for those who simply can’t do Japanese without sushi, you won’t be disappointed. Good for large groups too.
