nib Stadium
Editorial
This is Perth's big boy - sorry, one-track mind today. It has a capacity of 18,000 with a further 18000 on the pitch. Hence when it comes big boys, what was formally humbly known as Perth Oval, has hosted Tom Jones, John Farnham, Eric Clapton, The Police, Rod Stewart, Elton John, Def Leppard, Eros Ramazzotti, Billy Joel, Pearl Jam, The Who and… Celine Dion. It's also been used lately for one-day music festivals with Raggamuffin and Supafest both having excellent day's out.
When not being totally bombastic and partying it up, the stadium is the home of the Australian A-League club Perth Glory (since 1996) and the home of the Western Australia Rugby League since 2003. Now, talk about big boys.
