The Thai Corner, which does a brisk trade in take-away alongside its dine-in core business, has been a favourite spice spot for some time. Offering an Australian take on Thai flavours, “golden chicken” and green curry options have long livened the Canning Highway. In recent years, some punters have mourned the loss of the Corner’s zing; there are those who insist they can taste the disappearance of chilli. Nonetheless, the eatery remains full with diners content to take this westernised route to Thailand. Don’t expect absolute, sizzling authenticity. But, don’t expect grave disappointment, either.

Have been coming here for many years but this place is not what it used to be. The food does not have the same taste and flavors as before. Also this place has far too many tables in it so they can pack the customers in like sardines. Far better Thai restaurant down the road in Ardross.
