An upmarket suburban pub, the Greenwood is renowned for its range of tap beers, its steaks and the always laidback atmosphere. Spread over multiple rooms, it offers a charming brasserie and lounge, a sports bar, TAB and beer garden. Whichever one you opt for, there's a heavy emphasis on polished wood decor and a colonial design aesthetic Think plush red couches next to fireplaces, large bay windows and an outside verandah for those long, hot summer days.

While the Greenwood is best known for its steak, the hotel offers a contemporary mix of drinks to wash it all down with. Imported beers are available alongside draught locals; the wine list is suitably impressive and there's a modest selection of cocktails on hand. If you're not interested in 600gm of medium rare meat, you can always get yourself a drink at the bar, nab that couch by the fire or check out the beer garden. Sleek and modern, the beer garden quickly fills up when the weather is right. Large groups have been known to settle in for extended Sunday sessions, ensuring a very cruisey start to the week.
