It is in the Burswood Entertainment Complex proper that punters take risks. At the tables, you can gamble. In the nightclub, you can be assured of some fairly mainstream beats. Don't expect psychedelic trance to hum through this substantial sound system. Be happy instead with the authorised sounds of the iTunes store.
And, don't expect to wear or see an artsy couture creation. This Crown Limited property has a list of dress regulations longer than the legs of the West Australian models you'll sometimes see on stage here. No hoodies; no torn jeans; no “excessively revealing” clothes. Unless, of course, you're a leggy West Australian model.
Having given you the worst news, here's the best: this spanking new space is beautifully designed and teems with the new money of the old west. Proprietors have achieved the Hollywood VIP feel for which the were aiming, the dance floor is vast and often pumping and casino staff are courteous.
And the lights. My goodness. The lights. They can dazzle you into thinking that this Swan River Eden is a prelude to the Fall of Man.

the ruby room is one of those places where you would go to get a feeling of nostalga from your high school days. the place is filled with the people that were considered popular in high school and are now trying desperately to hold on to that feeling. of all the bars in the casino i would recomemed this one last. a much better alternative would be the sophisticated Minq bar above the riveira room, a bit more pricey but well worth it. as for the dress code i am in complete agreement with Luke-is it that hard to put on a shirt and a pair of jeans.
