One of Melbourne's finest Turkish restaurants, and arguably the finest on the south side, Marmara Restaurant in boho Windsor is something of a Chapel Street institution. Think awesome kebabs minus the gross set of after-club tragics associated with such fare. This takes things back to basics, with the best in Turkish technique. It's posh kebabs all round thank you very much. The meat sliced from the rotisserie feels like a little bit of heaven melting in your mouth, and they'll toast the bread direct from the rotisserie flames too. Skip the more scummy joints on chapel and dine in here for the real deal.
