Romeo's in the heart of Toorak Village is a wonderfully old-school Italian restaurant tucked under a bright orange neon sign. Having been in the same family's hands for almost thirty years now and their care and attention to detail is ever-present in every facet of this well-loved establishment, oft visited by minor celebs and the rich and label-loving local crowd. Stuck in a time warp in the best way possible, tradition is key here, with a lovingly crafted menu including a fabulous range of pasta dishes as well as hearty mains like veal scaloppine and steaks. Sweet crepes, creme caramel or hand made cakes finish things off, and the wine list washes it all down nicely.
