Mr Wolf Restaurant & Bar
Editorial
Something of an oasis on the strangely under-utilised St Kilda end of Inkerman Street, this pizza bar come boozy wine bar is a real treat. You wouldn't necessarily associate design chic and stylish flare with a pizza joint, but Mr Wolf delivers in spades. All timber floor, dim lighting and stark surfaces, there is still a healthy dose of warmth injected into this trendy locale. And chef Karen Martini certainly infuses each and every one of her masterful pizzas with luscious flavours. As a result, the place is usually crammed, so expect to be squeezed into the bar with a small army of eager diners champing at the bit.
If you're not here for the food, then you will be intensely rewarded by the jaw-dropping wine list, which is a triumphant roll call of some of the finest French and Italian tipples, rounded out with a few Aussie favourites. If wine isn't your thing, there are plenty of boutique bottles to choose from.
The waiters are a characterful bunch, and attention to detail is top notch, once again creating vibe that feels a million light years away form your average pizza joint. Mr Wolf oozes charm and is an ideal first date destination. Just beware of those dashing, dangerously devilish bad wolves.

A pretty click atmosphere with some great pizzas. Quite noisy due to the hard surfaces, but still a gourmet pizza and red wine experience. Plus Karen Martini is in charge I think, so her touch can be felt on the simple but stylish menu and setting.

We didnt have a booking, and it was peak time on a Sat night - so we got a table in the darker, bar like area, but it just added to the ambience! The pizzas were so delicious, real flavours, not just chucked on and put in the oven! Friendly service and great atmosphere.

The more you spend the better the staff will treat you. Eat hear if you are a hospitality masochist. Gluten free pizza bases are doughy and too hard on the crust. Over priced for the quality of food and why pay that much to get treated like a piece of nothing? Mr. Wolf's is the restaurant where disgruntled waiters come to die...
