The Pub at Crown
Editorial
The Pub at Crown is exactly that: a good, pseudo old-fashioned pub. Not a dark and dingy pub mind, but a rather nice one that's a wee bit styley without being as over-the-top glam as some of the rest of the casino. There's an open fireplace that makes winter eves rather cosy, and paintings hung on the wall, giving it a sense of the olden days.
The focus is firmly on beer here, rather than swanky cocktails. If you're in the mood for counting all those taps, there's twenty, featuring Aussie favourites and a few international ship-ins. It's probably not a good idea for your health to work you way through them.
You can rely on pub classic food too, from calamari rings to beer battered fish and chips and, of course plenty of steak options for the heartiest of meals. The beef and Guinness pie with mashed potatoes and gravy is a pretty awesome feed too. The best thing about eating here is that the prices are pretty budget compared to the rest of the casino, leaving you all the more money for a flutter.
