Lucky Chan has become something of an institution in Melbourne. What started out as a convenient place for yum cha for tourists and visitors to Crown Casino, has become a well-loved favourite. The duck dumplings rate high as does the seafood dishes. Desserts are good too. Prices can be a little steep, however considering the location this is to be expected. Service can be inconsistent as can be some of the vegetarian options. Pluses include the fact that you can almost always get a table (a luxury in a good yum cha restaurant) and its proximity to the river.
