Mexican restaurants tend to conjure up visions of colourful cantinas filled with piñatas, sombreros and dried chilies hanging from the ceiling, and while this can be a fun element of Mexican dining, sometimes you don’t want to feel as if you are attending a fiesta. Amigos restaurants, there are three locations, are stylish little numbers that don’t scream ole! The menu is as subdued as the decor too. This is Mexican inspired so while there are Tex Mex offerings such as nachos and fajitas, there are also plenty of options that don’t rely heavily on cheese. Amigos is a cool spot for trying their plethora of tequilas too.
