Unfortunately after my recent dinning experience at The Kilim I cannot recommend this restaurant. It was very disappointing for a number of reasons, including - The service was poor, unfriendly and inattentive - The website is misleading, what you pay for is not what you get! Beware!! We had the meat banquet and did not receive any dessert which was stated as being included in the price and there was also no belly dancer either. - If you expect to leave the venue full and satisfied you won't. The food was minimal and most people were left hungry, there was not even one of each meat skewer per person and bread was two small bite size squares each. The only positive was the ability to have your own separate dinning area, but when the service and food is sub-standard then this is really outweighed.

After my dining experience at Kilim this evening I was not surprised to read the review of Disappointed, 15/9/09. We had a party of 9 who had half meat and half seafood banquet. In addition to Disappointed's comments above, we were not served any calamari which we were advised they had sold out of, despite being the only ones in the restaurant! This was despite calling in advance as requested to confirm the booking. We were then charged $45 per person despite the banquet being $42 per person. Poor service and experience. You can get better value elsewhere.
