Don't blink or you'll miss it! The Richmond Market can be found between two rows of tressle tables barricading off cars from entering Gleadell Street, between Bridge Road and Highett Street. Here you can safely mill around, market shopping trolley in tow and check out the two rows of fresh produce. It's the speed shopping market experience!
There is one fish stall, one meat stall, one for nuts, eggs, breads and a few for fruit, vegetables and flowers. In and out in a jiffy. How spoilt are the Richmond locals with their very own open-air fresh fruit and veggie market right outside their very own sports and recreation centre. Nice one! And what a great start to the day. You can swim, gym, shop and then saunter to Bridge Road for a cappuccino and shop till you drop!
