Richmond Club Hotel
Editorial
Food-wise, you can get a main dish for around the $20 to $30 mark. Expect your usual pub favourites styled up a bit, from the pie of the day with traditional mash and mint peas to a hearty steak. The menu is meat focussed, but a couple of vegetarian dishes are available. Look out for the special steak and parma nights (see their web page) when you can fill up for less than $15. There's also Sunday roast. Finally, a decent place to eat where even Mum and Dad will enjoy the food, but is not the RSL!
The drinks list, though not being overly adventurous, provides some tasty local, national and New Zealand drops to go with your steak, or a familiar local or imported brew to clean your palate. The listed cocktails are mostly vodka based and under $20. And if that's not value enough, get the celebrations underway with a jug of Pimms or rum punch for around $25. Can't go wrong.

Well, never really been here before, but went on a Monday night date here, and to my suprise it was nice and quite for a beer and a chat. There is also a hidden beer garden out back. Staff are sweet, and yes I got lucky. Thumbs up people
