The All Nations Hotel is one of Richmond’s best old-school hotels with old-fashioned service.

Editorial

There are many areas to enjoy in this traditionally restored hotel. The main public bar has an emphasis on sports and cold beer. There's even a direct shuttle bus that runs from the bar to the MCG and back for each AFL game. The snug bar proves to be one of the more popular spots for enjoying a drink and meal with friends. The all-weather courtyard and beer garden is sure to inspire a relaxing lunch or dinner, as will the traditional dining room. And for larger or private events, there is an upstairs dining room suitable for impressing the guests. Which leads me to the delicious modern Australian meals on offer from the kitchen. You will not be disappointed with the quality here. The average price for a main is around $30, but it's well worth the little extra cost.

Other than beer, the wine list is pretty special too, with a great selection of Australian and New Zealand labels, each variety having one or two labels available by the glass.

So if it's sports and beer that fuel your passions, or if you're after a casual relaxed drink with mates, a steak with the old folks, or a fancy dinner with the company reps, the All Nations can make it happen for you.
