Bit by bit Port Melbourne's building up a rather enviable cafe scene from what was pretty much nothing not so long ago. Salford Lad's Club is an immediate stand out, and now we have Balderdash. Any cafe with possibly the most amusing English word as its title is off to a good start, and thankfully the coffee's top notch too. As are the friendly staff and the cool, laid-back vibe that oozes from the pores of this simple, clean cut place. Il Fornaio vets Nick Edgar and Mark Knapp know their stuff, and their stuff is mostly Five Senses whipped up on a fierce Synesso Hydra.
