While The Bull and Bear may suggest it's all about business lunches for money hungry stockbrokers, that would only tell a fraction of the story. The Bull and Bear certainly has a masculine ambience, but this is not the Melbourne Club. You won't find septuagenarians nursing brandy balloons and talking about the golden era of Menzies here. What you will find is a comfortable pub like vibe with a floor to suit everyone. Yes, this establishment with three floors is on the large side. Let's start at the bottom shall we?

The Bull and Bear bar on the ground floor is warm and welcoming. You won't find the latest cutting edge furnishings here but you will find plenty of elbow room and friendly staff who know the regulars on a first name basis.

Downstairs you'll find the bistro. Again, a simple and casual feel prevails, and you can watch the game while hoeing in to your Bull Burger.

The basement level is where the real fun takes place. There are pool tables, Fox TV and a jukebox to boot.

The Bull and Bear Tavern is a good, solid 'what you see is what you get' kinda place. While weekdays see office workers blowing off a little steam, weekends here lend themselves to a much more pent-up atmosphere. It's not called the Bull and Bear for nothing!

I LOVE THIS PLACE - It's my home away from home! Staff are all friendly, prices are great and the new menu is awesome!Do yourself a favour and check it out!
