The Apartment Restaurant Club Lounge
Editorial
A restaurant by day and club lounge by night, The Apartment is unlike any apartment I've ever been privy to. By day The Apartment's alter ego is altered further with two different lunchtime venues where you can choose to sit at communal tables for a quick, casual and reasonably priced lunch, or in the dining room for a more formal lunch when time is not an issue. The high standard of service remains no matter which venue you opt for, as does the quality fare by executive chef Marshall Richards. During the evening The Apartment serves as a groovy club lounge perfect for unwinding after work with the help of a cocktail and tempting tapas.
From the communal table menu, choose the chicken and semi-dried tomato risotto finished with rocket, or the steak sandwich with tomato confit, rocket, mushrooms, and beetroot relish served with chips. From the dining room menu start with an entree of oven-roasted lemon and dill fishcakes with tomato relish and avocado oil, followed by the slow-roasted pork belly with pan-seared scallops on pear and watercress puree. Desserts include a chocolate fondant with berry coulis. The good sized, Australian friendly wine list offers a select few by the glass.
