In your festive tool-kit you'll find pool tables, private function rooms and, of course, those pins. After a tipple or two in the centre's tacky-baroque bar, you might not get a strike. But, you'll almost certainly have a grin on your face.
This is not the sort of place you visit for a quiet, moody shiraz. If you want to talk literature, politics or anything, in fact, that cannot be heard over the din of high energy DJs, go to a smart bar in Fitzroy. If you want to pop your higher-mind in neutral and spend a little too much dosh on treating yourself and your friends to some uncomplicated, wobbly fun: Be a Rock Star.
