Momo's is a trippy affair, with elaborately patterned walls and gold and chocolate carpet framing pristine white cloth tables with slick curved seats and plump banquettes. Wispy drapes are aglow with blue and pink hues and golden pendant lighting casts its glow over the wine rack wall while a red Fez-wearing character gazes out from a framed picture in the marble hall. An icon of Melbourne's scene for over a decade, restaurateur Dean Lucas certainly has a flare for the imaginative. In the heart of the Grand Hyatt, head chef Greg Malouf brings Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavours with flare. Go all out for the Arabesque sharing menu at $130 a head.
