Locanda's website is far more impressive than the restaurant, which was an extreme disappointment. I made a booking on the strength of the apparent modern sophistication given by the image gallery and menus, and arrived to little more than a Gold Coast style bar, with dance music playing loudly, wide screen TVs, chairs placed haphazardly, and a generally underwhelming vibe. The restaurant is connected to a hotel and therefore the odd casually dressed tourist is to be expected, but the overall reality is nothing like what is projected from the severely misleading website. We didn't end up staying for dinner and we won't be back.

I agree with the previous review. The restaurant's website is outstanding and I planned a special evening out but was very disappointed. I was embarrassingly overdressed as people around me wore their shorts and thongs, and we quickly left. If only I had checked this site first, I might have been saved the trouble.
