Mild-mannered café by day transforms into chic wine bar by night with cocktails to die for and fine Mornington Peninsula delicacies right here in the CBD.

Editorial

Driving all the way down to the Mornington Peninsula to can be a hassle; it's what, almost 90 minutes? That's a long trek for us city folk! Little Peninsula is a 'mini-me' version of the Peninsula right here in the CBD, featuring all your favourite wines, muesli, yoghurt and hand-made Red Hill cheeses.

Décor is minimalist and angular, nice clean lines are a refreshing take on modern interiors. Hanging pendant lights create a warm vibe in the evenings; the place looking quite different from its daytime café identity.

Tuck into your choice of Mornington Peninsula wines like T'Gallant, Foxeys Hangout, Elgee Park, Paringa Estate, Box Stallion, Tucks Ridge, Montalto and Marinda Park. On Friday nights the place transforms into a chic cocktail bar, with inner-city professionals winding down from a long week in the corporate salt mines; no doubt encouraged by cocktails at half price ($7.50) all night. A nice array of local and international bottled beers pleases lovers of the amber fluid.

Food during the day is standard café fare with that famous Peninsula twist - try the gluten-free muesli with fresh yoghurt. The bar menu includes tasty tapas plates - these change weekly according the mood of the chef.
