Has anyone noticed how rude the staff are in all of these outlets. I'm sure staff are trained to treat people with disdain. None of them smile and they all act like you're an intrusion in their day to even order.

I too have a love affair with the laurent baguette and I too have been on quest for a smile...for a while now. No joy.

Lovely ham, cheeese and tomato baguette. No smile for me but thee staff did smile at each other.

Glad somebody noticed! I wondered about the Laurent Smile Free Zone. Mind you, so many places are smile free in Melbourne... We should have a smile protest down Swanston Street. Food with a smile tastes so much better. In fact everything with a smile tastes so much better! :)
