Gaylord Indian Restaurant
Editorial
Owner and Chef Musharraf Khan can be found in the kitchen, surrounded by authentic spices and ingredients, cooking all your favourites from the sub-continent. For starters, samosa (pyramid shaped puffs filled with vegetables); pakora (fried vegetables in batter); or the house special, multani kebab - lamb cutlet cooked in the tandoor. From the tandoori darbar (clay oven) is the acclaimed "specialty around the world" chicken basanta - boneless chicken pieces marinated in green herbs and spices. Lamb, chicken and beef vindaloo are also popular accompanied with Indian breads such as naan, garlic naan or roti. Wash down with a selection of Indian beers.

Food was good however the service was disgusting. The wait staff were very rude after a gay couple showed affection to each other. The wait staff would not speak to my friend or his partner, once it was clear they were a couple. It was obvious enough that the entire table commented on it. I would never eat at this restaurant or recommend it again.

We found the food to be excellent, easily up there with manchesters best. The service was friendly and timely considering how busy the place was. All in a great Indian dining experience! Thanks mr khan.
