While the offspring of Vue de Monde spread out far and wide, the Little Collins Street Cafe Vue was the original instalment of Shannon Bennett's cafe concept. It's a slick, surprisingly modern-looking space, all dark wood and glass partitions and soaring ceilings punctuated with street-level windows. The Vue burger with pomme frites is a favourite, or plump for Yorkshire pudding with roast wagyu, mash and gravy for something more filling. If you have to dash, their takeaway lunch boxes are a tasty treat, or settle in on friday nights for five cocktails matched to dainty little tasting dishes.
