Bali Bagus is spot on for a cheap, hearty feed in the city, with many meals hovering around the ten buck mark. As sure a sign as any is the proliferation of Indonesian and Chinese locals who frequent the restaurant, and the proof really is in the pudding as they say. The flavours are ridiculously authentic and the portions are generous too. A cute little blackboard with arty illustrations announces the drinks list and desserts. It’s all very relaxed and a good place to bring mates before a big night out. Be warned though, no Eftpos can be a nasty surprise if you don't come prepared.
