There was a time when Melbourne was limited to one or two areas for Asian cuisine. If you wanted Vietnamese you headed to Richmond, Chinese to the city, and while there has never been a designated ‘Little Thailand’, you can always find a Thai restaurant among the mix. Flemington has more than its share of good Asian restaurants and Asian Kitchen is one of the better. The regulars are a plenty here and among the must-have dishes are the chicken in pandan leaf, Thai bbq beef salad and the prawn panang curry. It’s modern and clean and the service is pleasant.
