Libation - the bar, that is - is located on Brunswick Street, smack-bang in the centre of Fitzroy's bar and cafe district. Brunswick Street offers a range of venues to enjoy, but one of the standouts is this one. Decked out with the bohemian personality in mind, it's not difficult to imagine getting warm and comfy in one of the old deco armchairs, sipping on a hearty red, gazing upon one of the beautiful chandeliers, then scribbling down some poetry, after which you daydream out the window at the cold wintry day outside. Okay, so it rings some bells for me. But even if you're not into red wine, poetry and daydreaming but you do enjoy a good chat, interesting and charming decor, some great music and a well-poured drink, Libation has got you covered.
At the bar you'll find a great selection of local and imported beers, quality and reasonably priced wines and a broad range of spirits and cocktails to choose from.
So if you're just passing by after work or have a big night out planned with mates, check out Libation and make a few while you're at it.
