Cape Cafe
Editorial
Inside there is an eclectic mix of furniture, ranging from retro lamps to op-shop couches to simple tables and chairs. It certainly has the 'home away from home' feel that those who have been on the road for some time appreciate. Upstairs is a cavernous space that is perfect for when the party gets started, and boy, does the party get started.
As mentioned the Cape is all about live music. From funk to rock to alternative, if it's live music you're after, then this is your place. There's also a line-up of regular DJs who keep the energy well and truly high.
Drinks are reasonably priced and the cocktails are surprisingly good. Just be warned: on weekend nights you may be waiting a while for a drink - this place does get busy!
