lovely wee bar! It's a typical friendly local (which is what you need when you're in a new country!) albeit the pub itself is tiny, and there is only one beer on tap (off hand I can't remember what it is, but it is lovely!) the cosy nature (and boardgames available) make it an enjoyable place to go for a few quiet drinks. There is a small bench outside where smokers are able to take their drinks and have a wee puff. There's also a very good pizza shop next door.

I agree...it's almost like a mini-cheers with the atmosphere. Kind of a bit in crowd though but the locals are very friendly. And Gilly...why am I not surprised to see your comment...you took me to this pub! Hahahah
