Choose from a selection of fish fillets, fresh daily, that include flake (local gummy shark), flathead (sweet tasting local fillets), and blue grenadier (a mild tasting deep-sea fish). Fillets can be either grilled or battered and staff will happily recommend which cooking style complements which fillet best. Other seafood options include black tiger prawn cutlets or scallops covered in Japanese breadcrumbs. Sides include deliciously crunchy chips, dim sims, spring rolls and salads. There's even a small sushi assortment. For optimum value choose one of the many Fish Bar packs, like the "family pack" comprising two fillets of fish, eight crumbed calamari rings, four potato cakes, four dim sims and a large chips for only $16.50. A small local and imported beer selection is available as well as one of each wine variety.

Best fish and chips in Melbourne, by a mile. Great views, fantastic service, value for money and fresh products all cooked in cottonseed oil which made the food non greasy and very tasty. My family really enjoyed the experience and definately will recommend Fish Bar to our family and friends.
