The name speaks for itself.

Editorial

This is the sort of pub you walk into and feel completely at home in within moments despite the fact it is in trendy Collingwood. The acoustic, country and bluegrass keeps the hipster dickheads with their lense-free specs at other venues listening to discordant synth, so it's more for unpretentious locals who thankfully come in all ages, shapes, sizes and jeans leg width to enjoy the cozy ambience and listen to the old school vinyl when the bands aren't playing.

In the front bar, you'll find nice wooden floorboards, a low curved bar and framed Elvis portraits and there is also a lovely little dining room, just behind the bar where they serve hearty and generous portions that are a cut above your standard pub fare (loving the wild rabbit and succulent duck and roo), or you can also take your food into the main room perch at a table and watch the bands.

Same goes for booze in terms of selection and quality, served by staff that genuinely look happy to be at work, the bar has eight different types of beer on tap (including an wonderful range of Coopers and other such ales) and a good selection of wines and spirits. And smokers will be relieved they can choof away at the outside tables on the footpath and even take their beverages out with em. Nice.
