After a 150 year renaissance, the British Crown Hotel is resurrected! Under the guidance of new owners, direct from running pubs in London, they bring with them a new twist on the old Australian pub recipe. The cuisine is British inspired with traditional favourites such as bangers and mash, corned beef with braised cabbage and mustard gravy, along with mouth-watering gourmet pot pies.

Service great, Bruschetta great too.....BUT!!! Ordered Hotpot (too peppery)which stated mashed potato, when served at table we received microwaved rice.... very disappointing! We arrived right on opening midday Sunday and was told after we questioned where our mashed potato was... That they were sold out!! Mind you we were the only diners in at that time??? 5 out 0f 10

i went once a while ago and want impressed. HOWEVER, i went last week and under the new managment and with all of their new renovations the british crown has a great atmosphere, i especially love the beer garden. i will definately return. frequently.
