Leon and Rita Tokar have long been passionate cooks, both for their own family and friends, and for friends of their friends, often envisioning owning and running a Restaurant of their very own creation one day. Their dream was finally realized when, on a glorious summers' day in January 2003 they opened Tokar Estate Yarra Valley winery Restaurant; bringing an exotic feel to the picturesque Yarra Valley by introducing a slice of the Mediterranean to region.
