Nestled next door to it's much-loved Carton icon father, Tiamo 2 is a slightly more relaxed affair, if that can be said of such an extravagantly Italian Lygon eatery. You can't book tables, so expect to fight the crowds most evenings, but it’s all worth it when you do get to plonk yourself down. Cheaper than next door, it's still a little pricier than you may expect for the cafe vibe, but really you're paying for the theatre, as the waiters work the room with every bit as much flare and flourish. Grab yourself a great bottle of red and a hearty bowl of pasta and settle in for the show.
