Royal Exhibition Building

In 2004 this building became the first in Australia to be awarded UNESCO World Heritage status, due to the fact it’s one of the last remaining exhibition buildings in the world. Built in 1880, it’s also famous for hosting the opening of the first Australian Parliament in 1901. It remains a thriving exhibition space featuring everything from hot rods to flower shows.
