For many the drawcard is design. And yes, I imagine many an architectural student could get a little hot and sweaty in here. Recycled timber, incandescent tube lighting and candlelight all offset the original factory features such as the steel-framed industrial windows and saw-tooth ceiling. Simple charcoal grey booths in the front section provide small groups with ample space to get comfortable, while romantic duos will find many a nook to cuddle up in.
If you really want to get the party started, head out the back to the courtyard. It's true that things always seem a little rowdier where the tobacco-lovers dwell, and thanks to the complete lack of ceiling in this part of the establishment, non-smokers can partake in the revelry with ample ventilation.
On top of all this is the staff. There's an old fashioned element here - it's called, friendly bartenders who know about alcohol. Simply tell them what you're in the mood for and delight in what comes your way.

Had many a great night at this place. Lacks the pretension that is creeping into other Brunswick bars.
