In an area full of impossibly hip cafes, the Flour Mill stands out as your more down-to-earth eatery more suited to the outer suburbs. Some folk in Brunswick don’t mind getting away from the too-cool-for-school attitudes, so for this reason the Flour Mill is perfect. The food is fairly standard café fare. Focaccias, burgers and pastas for lunch with basic sides such as chips and salad. The breakfast menu is extensive and the portions are large. For mothers with strollers and toddlers this place is a dream. There’s plenty of room and kids’ menus too. Service can be hit and miss.
