Atticus Finch
Editorial
The owners have realised what seems to elude too many bar entrepreneurs - the importance of a decent wine list. These guys know what they're talking about. There are about 16 different wines by the glass, and they are all chosen with such care and intelligence you would think Atticus Finch had selected them himself. The same goes for the bar snacks. From the locally produced patés and terrines to the Mount Zero olives, it's hard not too feel a little bit special in this joint. Indeed, if you had to sum up this place in one word, it is 'quality'.
As far as the décor goes, you get the impression that the same level of clarity has gone into the look as it has the menus. Shelves lined with books, taxidermied birds and assorted paraphernalia along with the rather regal high-backed leather booths may be reminiscent of a scholar's study, but the turntables and selection of vinyl let you know there are much hipper happenings to be had here.
On balmy nights, a spacious courtyard with a thoughtful undercover area will appease the alfresco drinker.

Big fan of this bar. I had my last birthday here and it was perfect. Couldn't recommend more.
