Sugarbeat is one of those rare finds - a little unassuming café in the middle of nowhere (actually Ascot Vale just off Mt Alexander Road) that has exceptionally friendly service, great food and well made coffee. One of those places that only the locals know about. Don't miss the to-die-for Bedouin poached eggs with spinach harissa, fetta & dukkah served on turkish toast.
