The Domain Parklands stretch along the Yarra River through Alexander Gardens, into The Domain and the Royal Botanic Gardens and over to the Shrine of Remembrance. Allow plenty of time to see the many art installations and historic monuments, jog around The Tan, catch a show at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl or stroll through the luscious lawns and gardens.

Getting there: Start from Federation Square and take a tram (3, 5, 6, 8, 16, 64, 67, 72) from Swanston Street.
