If you're looking for a little motivation to get yourself out and about, Isobar may just be your ticket to ride. This late-night club has been the end-cap to many a Hobart clubber's night out for many years now. With its doors open till almost sun up, you can be sure your feet will inevitably drag you there at least once in your lifetime. And with good reason; Isobar packs more house, retro and R&B into one venue than P Diddy's limo.
One question you may ask yourself, is why would a club be open Fridays, Saturdays and Wednesdays? The answer is, Uni students. Every Wednesday night, Isobar becomes The Club and the venue packs out with young adults looking to get a little dancefloor action while they spread their DNA far and wide. It may not be for the feint of heart, but it truly is the biggest Wednesday night party in Hobart.
Drinks wise, Isobar stocks your standard issue alcohols: tap beers like Stella, VB, Carlton Draught and Coopers Pale, pre-mixed bottles and basic spirits. There is a cocktail list, but you might get a groan when you ask for a time-consuming mix. Not to worry; another Breezer will see you right.

Never been to this place, but tripping it to hobart in october. Thought i'd look it up n see how the night clubs go! From the sounds of Mikes comment, i'll definately be goin to isobar!!.... Not for the location either!

In regards to Doxey's post with: "but you might get a groan when you ask for a time-consuming mix." This is nosense, we love mixing cocktails up. Feel free to ask us for what ever cocktail you wish. Ofcourse we will need to have the spirits to do so however with our wide variety and cocktail lists you cant go wrong.
