Seafood and its preparation is a matter for both hot and constant debate in Hobart. There are those, of course, who will never veer from the Frenzy’s more sober neighbour, Mure’s. There are many, however, who like the fast and unfussy service and presentation at this Pier perch. Few risks are taken with a menu that reads, and tastes, like an up-market fish-and-chippery. But, really, that’s the point. You come here to enjoy the taste of the ocean; not the taste of the chef. Everyone has a favourite seafood diner on or around the pier. This joint has a loyal school of fishy followers.
