The third of three outings from Michael King, following his Bellerive and Sandy Bay joints, North Hobart’s Fish Bar is a cute little whitewashed building tucked in at the end of a row of Victorian terraces. The glass frontage allows you to peep in at the sea-fresh fare, and there are diner-like sit in tables to make the most of some of the Apple Isle’s best fish and chips. There’s always a hustle and bustle surrounding this place, proving its popularity. Alternatively, if you fancy some peace and quiet, take out and head down to the water.
