Sparrow
Editorial
Sparrow Kitchen Bar fuses Spanish and Italian culinary delights with a contemporary setting. The decor is all polished wooden floors, open-plan design and modern furniture that wouldn't look out of place in a Swedish display home. All of this is complemented with a combination of natural light and the warm hue of the various lamps.
If you're just looking to get a drink, the outside bar is a great option, especially during the warmer months. Basically, the proprietors have taken out a section of one wall to create a walk up bar. Grab a bar stool and you can enjoy a beer while watching the sunset over the horizon. Or, if you prefer, there's a full accompaniment of wines, spirits and cocktails on offer. The point is, if you're not after a full meal, Sparrow can accommodate your drinking - both inside and out.
Still this is a restaurant at heart. It has a great menu and a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. If you really want the full experience you should organise some friends, an empty stomach and take in Sparrow in the way it was intended.
