Royal Oak Hotel
Editorial
Think of a scene from Rocky Horror and you're in the right ballpark. Entertainment midweek and the tone softens to attract Adelaide's sultry Jazz scene. A Jazz influenced vibe is replicated on Sundays with the addition of soul and funk fusion.
Thursdays at The Royal Oak is a showcase for singer/songwriters with local acts such as The Yearlings and Brenton Manser Duo rolling up with a suitcase of folk and acoustic original tunes, and on Fridays and Saturdays the hotel is given over to dinning, good wine and cocktails.
The Royal Oak kitchen is definitely on a foodie's radar with a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu that sets a new standard in hotel catering. The steak dishes are particularly appetising and as for desert, you know the establishment has your comfort and well being at heart with the inclusion of a Sticky Date Pudding.
