The Thanakamonnum boys have opened another cracker with Blanc Bar and Bistro, taking their signature slick minimal style of decor and letting Norman's food do the talking. And wham bam, what a mouth the menu has on it: crispy braised rabbit and crumbed calamari to start, freshly shucked Coffin Bay oysters and a bias towards seafood mains. The Moroccan claypot is a winner, as is their surf ‘n’ turf variant, char-grilled ribs and bugs. You'll need your wallet to have a fairly healthy bulge, but you'll leave with the same healthy bulge in your belly after this magnificent feast
