A classic 19th century pub revamped for the new millennium, the Edinburgh Hotel is an Adelaide institution.

Editorial

Offering a mix of classic architecture and pristine gardens, the multi-faceted Edinburgh Hotel is an Adelaide institution. Opened all the way back in 1869, it's been expanded and revamped significantly over the intervening years. These days it boasts a mix of historic features and modern influences.

Aside from the beer garden, the Edinburgh Hotel offers a variety of drinking options; among them, the Village Bar and several function rooms. The Village Bar boasts 12 different beers on tap, an extensive range of bottled options and over 20 wines by the glass. Speaking of wine, their cellar has twice been voted the best in the country. Meanwhile, there's an all-new cocktail menu on hand offering a selection of classics and house specialities. Whatever you're drinking, the Village bar is spacious and sunlit with an adjacent verandah overlooking the famous Edinburgh garden.

With a selection of entertainment options throughout the week, including live acoustic duos and DJs, the Edinburgh has successfully melded its heritage with the demands of a contemporary pub audience. The venue has almost 150 years of history to its name and a well-earned reputation for quality.
