Pretoria Hotel
Editorial
Having river views, indoor and outdoor dining and function areas, a traditional front bar, a TAB, large screen lounge, 32 poker machines, Keno, Lotteries, a Sip'n Save bottle shop, amusements for children and a lounge bar with an open fire during winter, the Pretoria is a popular destination for lunch, dinner or just a drink, particularly for the aforementioned houseboating-holidayers who are able to moor their boats directly out front.
The menu covers all bases with seafood, salads, schnitzels, pastas, poultry and steaks on offer. Even the kids get a go with a dedicated children's selection. Being South Australia, naturally the Pretoria has a wide selection of wines from the nearby Barossa Valley or the Murraylands that can all be purchased by the glass or bottle. Being a country pub, naturally the Pretoria stocks the full gamut of beers, spirits and other common imbibing fluids loved by country folk. Live bands and a house DJ add to the flavour of some Saturday nights, but check the website for dates.
